Message from the President, Federation of Malaysian Freight Forwarders (FMFF)
Federation of Malaysian Freight Forwarders (FMFF) was registered in September 1987 as a national body representing freight forwarders in the country. In 2000, FMFF was endorsed and recognized by the Ministry of Transport as the national association to represent the logistics industry. Among some of FMFF’s objectives are to unify freight forwarders in the country through the promotion of co-operation and understanding among members; safeguard and represent the interests of members at national and international levels; improve the quality and standards of members’ services through knowledge sharing as well as foster and improve relations with shippers, carriers, government agencies and other related parties.
FMFF is pleased to endorse the latest edition of Malaysia Logistics Directory 2019/2020 by Marshall Cavendish (M) Sdn Bhd. Produced by one of the leading business information companies in the region, this directory provides a comprehensive and up-to-date compilation of a wide range of logistics-related offerings in both print and digital alternatives (www.msialogistics.com).
Despite the tougher operating environment, the Malaysian logistics industry continues to flourish and contribute significantly to the country’s economic performance. We are proud of the industry’s achievement thus far and remain confident of its future prospects. We would like to invite potential partners to join FMFF and collectively explore the opportunities that the logistics industry has to offer.
Lastly, we would like to convey our sincere congratulations to the publisher and hope readers will find this directory informative and helpful in facilitating business decisions.
Thank you and best wishes.
Mr. Chua Seng Wah, Alvin
The President of Federation of Malaysian Freight Forwarders (FMFF)
